About Us

Following several years in both the asbestos and Construction industries Search Environmental Ltd was set up in July 2004 by Richard Stait & Andrew Howells to meet the demand for independent and experienced asbestos consultancy services in the UK. Over the past few years we have worked tirelessly to gain an excellent reputation for quality, flexibility and a bespoke approach to all the services we provide, ensuring all our clients receive a first class service and are happy to offer referrals.

Since the companies incorporation we have worked to form strong relationships with other companies within the asbestos industry and can advise and offer expertise in other areas by referring experienced professionals all fields of asbestos consultancy and risk assessment.

All our surveyors hold the BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society) Certificates in Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos P402 Qualification as a minimum and have considerable experience in the asbestos industry and all surveys are conducted in accordance with HSG 264.

From our Midlands base we are able to operate nationwide and have regularly undertaken projects in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Isle of Mann.We hold full professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Employers Liability Insurance certificates for all work undertaken.
